Overview
On the night the servers of his favorite MMORPG, Infinity Game, are due to shut down, game developer Akira Oono finds himself pulled into the game’s world in the body of his own character, the Demon Lord Hakuto Kunai. With the Demon Lord’s overwhelming power at his command, he sets out to find out who summoned him and why.
His journey quickly gathers a strange company: Aku, a young girl shunned by her village; Luna Elegant, a holy maiden with a short temper; and a growing cast of saints, demons and loyal subordinates. Between building up a village, opening a hot spring resort and facing the forces of the Holy Kingdom, Kunai’s second life is equal parts power fantasy and comedy, and the 2024 follow-up season, Demon Lord, Retry! R, picks the story back up.
