DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is an animated fantasy series from Netflix, based on the world of Valve’s Dota 2. It follows Davion, a Dragon Knight who has devoted his life to hunting dragons, and Mirana, a princess of the Moon on a mission of her own. When their paths cross after an encounter with the dragon Slyrak, Davion is pulled into a conflict far larger than any hunt: a war between gods, demons and ancient powers fighting over the fate of the world.
Created by Ashley Miller and animated by Studio Mir, the series ran for three books between 2021 and 2022, telling one continuous story across 24 episodes. Its mix of high-stakes fantasy battles, dragon lore and a sprawling cast — including the enigmatic Invoker and the demon Terrorblade — made it one of Netflix’s most ambitious game adaptations.
