Overview
Shigeo Kageyama, known to everyone as Mob, is a quiet middle-school student with overwhelming psychic power. He would rather be ordinary: do well at school, impress his crush, and get through the day without incident. Instead, he works part-time for Arataka Reigen, a self-styled spirit medium with no powers of his own, exorcising evil spirits while trying to keep his emotions — and his power — under control.
The trouble is that Mob’s power is tied to his feelings. As stress builds, his internal percentage climbs, and when it hits 100%, everything he has been holding back erupts at once. Across three seasons, the series mixes wild psychic battles with an unusually gentle coming-of-age story about growing up, making friends, and learning to be honest about what you feel.
