Overview
One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy, a cheerful young pirate who gained a rubber body after eating a Devil Fruit, as he sets sail to find the legendary treasure known as the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. Adapted from Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga, the series has been running since 1999 and grown into one of the most beloved anime in the world.
Along the way, Luffy gathers the Straw Hat Pirates — swordsman Zoro, navigator Nami, sharpshooter Usopp, cook Sanji, doctor Chopper, archaeologist Robin, shipwright Franky, musician Brook and helmsman Jinbe — and sails from the East Blue across the Grand Line and into the New World, facing rival crews, Marines and Warlords in arcs that range from East Blue and Alabasta to Wano Country, Egghead and Elbaph.
