Overview
The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids is a 2024 fantasy adventure anime built around a simple, unfair twist: the party member who does the hardest, least glamorous job is the one thrown away. Rud is a tank, the adventurer who stands in front, absorbs attacks and keeps everyone else alive while they explore dangerous labyrinths. His defence is said to be the highest ever recorded, yet that record counts for little when the Hero’s Party decides he is holding them back.
Cast out, Rud does not set out for revenge. He returns to Avancia and starts again with companions who actually see what he can do, searching labyrinths for a treasure that might cure his ailing sister, Manicia. Along the way, the series slowly reveals that his supposedly ordinary endurance hides something far stranger, and that the skills others dismissed may be exactly what a new party needs to survive the depths.
