There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her

Overview

Yoki was once an ordinary human, but after being reborn as a demon he ends up in a middling post in the Demon King’s army, with one job: help bring down the hero’s party. His plans fall apart the moment he actually meets them, because the party’s priest, Cecilia, captures his heart at first sight. Her serious gaze, her small gestures, her whole way of carrying herself — to Yoki, she is simply perfect.

The fun of the series comes from that impossible crush. Yoki is supposed to be the enemy, yet all he wants is a chance to confess his feelings to the very person his side is meant to defeat. Every attempt to get closer risks giving away who he really is, and every battle between the two sides puts his secret — and his heart — in fresh danger.
