Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?

Overview

Kai is a young soldier with a quiet, solemn duty: watching over the sealed crypts where the defeated enemies of humanity are kept locked away. In his world, people won the great war, and that victory shapes everything he knows. Then history itself is rewritten. In a single, disorienting shift, the world Kai wakes up in is one where humanity lost, and no one around him has any memory of who he is.

That premise drives a fantasy adventure about identity, memory, and stubborn hope. Cut off from every friend and ally he once had, Kai has to prove himself all over again in a world that treats him as a stranger. Along the way he crosses paths with Rinne, Jeanne, and others who pull him into a fight to set the rewritten world right. It is a compact, fast-moving series that mixes swordplay, magic, and mystery with a surprisingly emotional core.
