Overview
Five Genesect, ancient Pokémon brought back to life and rebuilt with modern technology, arrive in a busy city in search of a home, and their presence soon threatens the city’s power supply. Their leader, a red Genesect, refuses to trust humans or other Pokémon, setting up a clash with the legendary Mewtwo, who understands better than most what it means to be created rather than born.
Ash, Pikachu and their friends are caught in the middle as the Genesect and Mewtwo battle across the city, and the film becomes a story about belonging: whether creatures shaped by science can still find a place in the natural world, and whether old enemies can learn to live side by side.
