Overview
Samara “Sam” Young is a game developer in Los Angeles who is close to releasing her first video game, Ruminate, when a popular streamer posts a scathing review of it. The setback stings even more when Sam learns that the critic, Marshall Law, has just moved in next door, turning a professional blow into an awkward everyday encounter.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Let’s Play follows Sam as she tries to keep her game, her friendships and her confidence on track while Marshall’s blunt honesty keeps colliding with her own. Kana Hanazawa voices Sam and Shimba Tsuchiya voices Marshall, and their sparring gives the series its mix of workplace comedy, romance and gaming-culture humor.
