Overview
Scott Pilgrim is a broke Toronto slacker in a band, hopelessly in love with Ramona Flowers, and cursed with a dating history that fights back. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off retells Bryan Lee O’Malley’s beloved story as a dazzling anime, where Scott must battle Ramona’s seven evil exes, only for the story to swerve into surprising new territory that even longtime fans will not see coming.
Created by O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski, the series reunites the live-action film’s cast in voice form, with Michael Cera as Scott and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona, alongside Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick, Kieran Culkin and Aubrey Plaza. It is funny, romantic, musical and gloriously over the top.
