Overview
Teen Titans follows five young heroes who share a tower home in Jump City and share the work of keeping it safe. Robin leads the group, Starfire brings boundless energy and alien strength, Raven keeps her dark powers in check, Beast Boy can turn into animals, and Cyborg combines human ingenuity with powerful technology. Together they are a family first and a team second, and much of the show comes from how they live, argue, laugh and look out for one another between battles.
Across five seasons the Titans face recurring villains such as Slade, the Brotherhood of Evil and the demon Trigon, while each hero also gets stories about identity, friendship and growing up. The action is bright and fast-moving, but the show regularly slows down for quieter moments about trust, fear and responsibility, which is why it still resonates with viewers who first watched it on Cartoon Network.
