Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon

Overview

What begins as a family vacation on Melemele Island turns into a whole new chapter for Ash and Pikachu. Instead of chasing Gym badges across a region, Ash enrolls at the Pokémon School in the tropical Alola region, where island trials, Z-Moves, and a classroom full of new friends reshape how he trains and battles.

Under Professor Kukui’s guidance, Ash studies alongside Lillie, Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, and Sophocles, each with their own goals and partner Pokémon. The Sun & Moon era spans three seasons — Sun & Moon, Sun & Moon: Ultra Adventures, and Sun & Moon: Ultra Legends — and trades the road-trip formula for island life, school days, and encounters with the island guardians, with Team Skull stirring up trouble along the way.
