Overview
Dexter’s Laboratory follows Dexter, a boy genius who keeps a vast secret laboratory hidden behind a bookcase in his bedroom. While his parents remain blissfully unaware, Dexter spends his days building robots, running experiments and trying to keep his curious older sister Dee Dee out of his equipment. His arch-rival and neighbor, the sinister Mandark, is always scheming to outdo him.
Created by Genndy Tartakovsky, the series became one of Cartoon Network’s defining early originals, mixing slapstick comedy with inventive science-fiction ideas. Each episode usually packs several short segments together, so Dexter’s schemes, Dee Dee’s chaos and Mandark’s plots collide again and again — and the lab rarely survives the day in one piece.
