Overview
Another is a horror mystery anime that begins with an uneasy transfer. When Kouichi Sakakibara arrives at his new school, he quickly senses that something is deeply wrong with his class, Class 3-3. The other students are polite but guarded, and nobody wants to talk about the quiet, eye-patched girl named Mei Misaki, who seems to exist just outside the class itself.
As Kouichi draws closer to Mei, the class’s dark history starts to surface. A long-running curse hangs over Class 3-3, and every year it claims lives in sudden, shocking ways. The series builds its dread slowly, through atmosphere, silence and small details, before the deaths begin to pile up and the search for a way to end the curse turns desperate.
