Overview
Sparks of Tomorrow is set in an alternate, steam-powered 20th-century Kyoto, where electricity is still a dream rather than a daily reality. Inventor Kihachi Sakamoto and the spirited Inako Momokawa set out to find the missing “20th Century Electrical Catalog” — a fabled document that could light up their world and change the future.
From Kyoto Animation, the series is a warm, beautifully crafted adventure about invention, curiosity and chasing an unseen light. As Kihachi and Inako follow clues through a lovingly reimagined Kyoto, their quest becomes as much about the people they meet as the invention they are chasing.
