Overview
Bluey is an Australian animated series about a six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who turns ordinary family moments into big, joyful games. Alongside her younger sister Bingo, Bluey invents worlds out of the living room, the backyard and the neighbourhood, with her parents Bandit and Chilli joining in as often as they can. Each short episode is built around play, and that play usually ends up teaching something small and honest about growing up.
What makes Bluey stand out is how it speaks to children and adults at the same time. The games are silly and full of energy, but the stories underneath them deal with patience, sharing, disappointment and family life in a warm, gentle way. That mix is why the show has become a favourite for family viewing far beyond its home country.
