Adventure Time

Overview

Adventure Time follows Finn, a brave and endlessly curious boy, and Jake, his shape-shifting dog and best friend, as they wander the Land of Ooo. Once the home of an ordinary world, Ooo is now a patchwork of candy kingdoms, haunted forests, ice palaces and strange ruins, and every trip out of the treehouse seems to turn into a quest, a rescue or a very odd misunderstanding.

What makes the show last is how it grows with its heroes. Early episodes are bright, silly and gloriously random, but over ten seasons the jokes sit beside real friendships, breakups, family secrets and growing up. Finn and Jake stay funny throughout, yet the Land of Ooo quietly becomes one of the most richly imagined worlds in modern animation.
