Overview
Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, believes that even demons can change. Instead of accepting endless punishment as the only answer, she opens a hotel where troubled souls can work toward redemption and a second chance. Her idea sounds hopeful, but it is tested at every turn by sceptical neighbours, powerful rivals and residents who are not yet ready to change.
The series pairs that unlikely mission with bold, colourful animation and big musical numbers. Songs, sharp comedy and darker moments sit side by side, while Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Alastor and the rest of the hotel’s residents slowly learn to trust one another. It is an adult animated musical comedy, so its humour and themes are aimed at grown-up viewers rather than children.
