Kiff

Overview

Kiff follows Kiff Chatterley, a bright-eyed, endlessly optimistic squirrel, and her best friend Barry Buns, a gentle bunny who would rather take life slowly. In their mountain town, the pair turn ordinary days — school, chores, neighbourhood errands and small celebrations — into spiralling, good-hearted chaos, usually because Kiff charges in first and thinks second.

What makes the show stick is the friendship at its centre. Kiff’s enthusiasm and Barry’s calm balance each other, and the town around them — family, teachers, neighbours and a wonderfully odd cast of animals and magical creatures — gives every episode a fresh place to land a joke. It is warm, musical and very silly, but it also returns, again and again, to loyalty, honesty and looking out for the people beside you.
