Overview
For over a century, a secret organization has stood between Britain and the things that hunt in the dark. Hellsing Ultimate follows that organization, the Hellsing Organization, and its most fearsome weapon: Alucard, an ancient vampire bound to the service of its leader, Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. Where most vampire stories trade in romance or mystery, this one trades in blood, gunfire and unflinching brutality, told across ten feature-length episodes released over six years.
At Integra’s side stands Seras Victoria, a young police officer who is turned into a vampire and drawn into the organization’s war against supernatural enemies. Torn between her human past and her new nature, Seras becomes the audience’s way into a world of shadowy conspiracies, fanatical soldiers and monsters that refuse to stay dead. The result is one of the most uncompromising anime adaptations ever made: faithful to its manga roots, gorgeously animated and utterly merciless.
