Overview
Liar Game follows Nao Kanzaki, an honest young woman who receives a mysterious letter and a suitcase holding 100 million yen, drawing her into a secret contest where players win by deceiving one another. Naive but determined, she turns to Shinichi Akiyama, a brilliant former con artist, to survive a game where trust is the most dangerous currency of all.
Based on Shinobu Kaitani’s manga, the anime turns each round of the contest into a battle of wits, as Nao’s refusal to lie clashes with opponents who will say anything to win. With Saya Hitomi voicing Nao and Takeo Otsuka voicing Akiyama, the series keeps the tension high through bluffs, betrayals and clever reversals that reward viewers who watch every move closely.
