Overview
Looney Tunes Cartoons brings Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and the rest of the classic gang back in short, punchy cartoons built around simple setups, slapstick gags and bright, expressive animation. Each short leans on the characters’ classic pairings: Bugs outwitting Elmer Fudd, Daffy squabbling with Porky, and Wile E. Coyote chasing the Road Runner, all told with the timing and visual energy that made the original theatrical shorts famous.
The series premiered on HBO Max in 2020 as a modern revival of the theatrical short tradition, and it ran for six seasons before ending in 2024. With no long story arcs to follow, every short stands on its own, which makes the show an easy pick for families and longtime fans alike, whether you watch a single cartoon or a whole batch at once.
