Overview
Nina the Starry Bride is a 2024 fantasy romance anime about Nina, an orphan girl from the castle town of Fortna whose deep blue eyes match those of the late Princess Alisha. When Prince Azure notices the resemblance, Nina is pulled into a royal deception and asked to take the princess’s place — and to marry the Prince of Galgada.
Across its single 12-episode season, Nina must learn court manners, guard her true identity, and find her footing in a palace full of secrets. Based on the manga of the same name, the series mixes palace intrigue with a slow-burn romance, as Nina discovers that being needed — even under someone else’s name — can feel like a kind of freedom.
