Phineas and Ferb is the endlessly inventive animated comedy about two stepbrothers who refuse to waste a single day of summer vacation. Every morning brings a brand-new, wildly ambitious project, while their pet platypus quietly leads a double life that the boys never suspect.
Overview
Created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, the series follows Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher in the town of Danville. With summer stretching out before them, the pair build everything from backyard roller coasters to time machines, usually with help from their friends Isabella, Baljeet and Buford. Their older sister Candace spends most of her time trying to show their mum exactly what the boys have been up to, but the evidence has a habit of vanishing just in time. Meanwhile, their pet platypus Perry slips away to his secret life as Agent P, foiling the schemes of the bumbling Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. The show’s mix of catchy songs, clever inventions and two storylines colliding in every episode is what made it a firm favourite with viewers of all ages.
