Overview
Ash, Misty and Brock arrive in Alto Mare, a beautiful city of canals, where they meet the legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios, guardians of the city and its mysterious Soul Dew. When the thieves Annie and Oakley come hunting for the Soul Dew, a chase across rooftops and waterways turns into a race to protect Alto Mare itself.
Directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, Pokémon Heroes is remembered for its sunlit canal-city setting and for giving Latias a personality all its own – a film that leans on atmosphere and heart as much as on battles. It remains one of the most fondly recalled entries in the Pokémon movie series.
