Overview
After his adventures in Kanto and the Orange Islands, Ash Ketchum sets his sights on Johto, a region rich with Pokémon he has never seen before. Travelling again with Misty and Brock, Ash chases eight Gym badges on the road to the Johto League, meeting new friends, new rivals and a whole new set of starters along the way.
The Gold and Silver era spans three seasons — The Johto Journeys, Johto League Champions and Master Quest. Early episodes introduce Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, follow the mystery of the GS Ball to Azalea Town, and even see Charizard leave for the Charicific Valley, while Team Rocket keeps turning up wherever trouble can be found.
