Overview

Regular Show follows Mordecai, a laid-back blue jay, and Rigby, a hyperactive raccoon, who work as groundskeepers at a local park — and somehow turn the most ordinary chores into the most extraordinary disasters. A simple request from their boss Benson, like mowing the lawn or clearing out the snack bar, tends to spiral into time travel, an interdimensional battle, or a showdown with a supernatural menace, all before clocking out.

Created by J.G. Quintel, the series pairs its deadpan slackers with a wonderfully strange cast: the immortal groundskeeper Skips, the lollipop-shaped Pops, the muscle-bound Muscle Man, and the ever-patient Eileen. Beneath the surreal jokes sits a genuine friendship story — Mordecai and Rigby are at their best when they stop goofing off and actually back each other up.
