Overview
She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man is a 2022 fantasy anime that follows Kagami Sakamori, one of the strongest players in the virtual-reality game Ark Earth Online, where he plays as the veteran summoner Danblf. When he wakes up inside the game world itself, he discovers he is no longer in his old avatar’s body — he now looks like a young girl.
To keep his true identity hidden, he takes the name Mira and introduces himself as Danblf’s pupil. From there, the series mixes light comedy with adventure as Mira reunites with old allies, explores a world that now feels real, and tries to live up to a legend that everyone around him still believes in.
