SpongeBob SquarePants

Overview

SpongeBob SquarePants is the cheerful animated comedy about a square yellow sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. In the underwater city of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab, hangs out with his best friend Patrick Star, and turns the smallest everyday task into a wild adventure.

Created by Stephen Hillenburg, the show has been running since 1999 and is loved for its silly humor, catchy songs and unforgettable characters, from the grumpy Squidward Tentacles to the money-loving Mr. Krabs and the daredevil Sandy Cheeks. Beneath all the jokes, it is a warm story about friendship, optimism and never giving up, no matter how soggy things get.
