The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army Was a Human

Overview

Ike is the most feared magician in the Demon Lord’s army. As commander of the Immortal Brigade, part of the Seventh Corps, he conquers fortresses single-handedly and drives back the armies of humanity, earning the absolute loyalty of his demon soldiers and the trust of Dairokuten, the Demon Lord himself. Yet behind the mask and the legend lies a secret that could destroy everything he has built: Ike is a human, hiding in plain sight among the very demons he leads.

Balancing battlefield brilliance with the constant danger of discovery, Ike fights not only for victory but for a future where demons and humans can live side by side. Alongside companions such as Cefiro, Satie, and Lilith, he turns each campaign into a test of strategy, loyalty, and identity in this 2024 fantasy action series based on Ryousuke Hata’s light novel.
