Overview
Uryu Kamihate arrives at Amagami Shrine with a clear plan for his life: study hard, get into medical school, and leave his difficult past behind. Instead, the shrine’s chief priest gives him an unexpected condition for staying there. To keep a roof over his head and one day take over the shrine, Uryu must marry one of the three Amagami sisters who live and work there.
That arrangement sets up a warm, funny and gently awkward household story. Eldest sister Yae, middle sister Yuna and youngest sister Asahi each have their own personality, duties at the shrine and ideas about the future, and Uryu’s practical, study-first attitude keeps colliding with shrine traditions, festival preparations and everyday family life. Beneath the comedy, the series is about belonging: what it means to be welcomed into a home, to take responsibility for a place, and to choose a future rather than simply inheriting one.
