Overview
In a world where almost everyone is born with a superpower called a Quirk, Izuku Midoriya is one of the rare few born without one — yet he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. After a fateful encounter, All Might passes his own Quirk, One For All, to Izuku, opening the door to U.A. High School, Japan’s most prestigious academy for young heroes.
Across eight seasons, Izuku and his classmates in Class 1-A train, compete, and face rising villain threats, from the League of Villains to the all-powerful All For One, in a story about what heroism costs and what it means to save people with a smile. Based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga, the series ran from 2016 to its final season in 2025.
