Overview
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes steps away from U.A. High School and into the backstreets of a world where most people have Quirks but only a licensed few may use them as heroes. Timid college student Koichi Haimawari once dreamed of heroism, but he has settled for quietly helping people in small ways — until a run-in with the rough-edged vigilante Knuckleduster and the street performer Pop☆Step pulls him into the unlicensed side of hero work.
Set years before Izuku Midoriya’s story, the spin-off follows Koichi, Pop☆Step and Knuckleduster as they take on villains the official heroes overlook, while a dangerous drug called Trigger spreads through the city. Based on the manga by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court, the series premiered on April 7, 2025, and gives a grittier, street-level view of the My Hero Academia world.
