Overview
Star vs. the Forces of Evil follows Star Butterfly, a princess from the magical dimension of Mewni, who is sent to Earth after her reckless handling of her family’s powerful royal magic wand causes trouble at home. Living with the Diaz family in the town of Echo Creek, she teams up with her new best friend Marco Diaz, and together they face monsters, villains and the everyday chaos of high school life.
Created by Daron Nefcy, the series ran on Disney XD and Disney Channel from 2015 to 2019, growing from light-hearted monster-of-the-week adventures into a much bigger story about Mewni’s history, the magic itself, and Star’s destiny as queen. Across four seasons, Star and Marco battle Ludo, Toffee and other forces of evil, while their friendship slowly turns into something more.
