Overview
Takao Ameku is the brilliant, eccentric head of the Department of Diagnostic Pathology at Ten’ikai General Hospital, a unit that takes on the cases other doctors cannot solve. When patients arrive with impossible symptoms, or when a death makes no medical sense, her team is called in to find the truth.
Each case blends medicine with mystery: a strange illness, an unexplained accident, or a crime that looks supernatural at first glance. With her sharp eye for detail and her colleague Yu Takanashi at her side, Takao cuts through superstition and guesswork to reach a diagnosis that explains everything.
