Overview
Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a teenager buried under a mountain of debt inherited from his father. To pay it off, he works as a devil hunter alongside Pochita, his small chainsaw devil companion, until a betrayal leaves him dying and forces the two to merge into a single being.
Reborn with the power to turn parts of his body into chainsaws, Denji is recruited by Makima into Tokyo’s Public Safety Devil Hunters, where he fights alongside Aki Hayakawa and the unpredictable Power. Beneath its wild, bloody action, the series is a surprisingly human story about a young man chasing simple pleasures: a decent meal, a warm bed, and someone to care about.
