Overview

Johnny Test follows an 11-year-old boy with more courage than common sense, living in the town of Porkbelly with his family and his talking dog, Dukey. His genius twin sisters, Susan and Mary, are always cooking up wild inventions in their lab, and Johnny is their favorite test subject, whether the experiment involves a turbo action backpack, a time machine or a device that turns him into something entirely unexpected.

Created by Scott Fellows, the series premiered in 2005 and ran for six seasons, building its comedy on the gap between the sisters’ brilliant science and Johnny’s reckless enthusiasm. Every experiment seems certain to end in chaos, and it usually does, with Johnny, Dukey and the whole Test family left to clean up the fallout.
