Overview
Star Wars: Visions is an animated anthology series that hands the Star Wars galaxy to celebrated anime studios and lets each one tell a standalone short in its own style. The first volume, released in 2021, brought together seven Japanese studios for nine shorts, from a wandering ronin and twin Sith warriors to a rock band with a secret and a village protected by a mysterious traveler.
Later volumes widened the lens beyond Japan, with studios from around the world contributing their own takes on Jedi, Sith, droids and the Force. Because every short stands alone, viewers can start anywhere, and each volume keeps the same promise: a familiar galaxy retold through a completely different artistic voice.
