Overview
Koyuki Hikawa has built her whole high school life around a single rule: do not let anyone get close. Haunted by memories she cannot shake, she keeps her classmates at a careful distance, convinced that the icy walls she has raised around herself are the only way to stay safe. But walls, even frozen ones, are made to be tested, and three very different schoolmates refuse to leave her alone in the cold.
Adapted from Kocha Agasawa’s manga, The Ramparts of Ice is a slow-burn school romance about the gap between the face we show the world and the feelings we hide. As Koyuki, Miki, Minato and Yota stumble through misunderstandings, jealousy and quiet acts of kindness, the series asks a simple question: what does it take for someone who has decided never to be hurt again to finally let another person in?
