Overview

Long before Geralt’s story, a young Vesemir escapes a life of poverty to become a witcher – a monster hunter for hire who relishes gold, glory and adventure. When a dangerous new monster begins slaughtering in the kingdom, Vesemir must confront the monsters he hunts and the ones his own order has created.

Directed by Han Kwang Il from a screenplay by Beau DeMayo, and voiced by Theo James as Vesemir, the film expands the world of Netflix’s The Witcher with fast, brutal animation and a sharper look at how witchers are made. It works as a prequel for fans and as a standalone dark-fantasy film for newcomers.
