Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy

Overview

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy follows Makoto Misumi, an ordinary high school student who is suddenly summoned to another world to serve as its hero. The plan falls apart almost immediately: the goddess of that world takes one look at Makoto, declares him too plain to be her champion, strips him of the hero title and casts him out to the wasteland at the very edge of the world. Abandoned by gods and humans alike, Makoto is left to survive in a land of monsters, demi-humans and harsh wilderness.

What the goddess did not count on is that Makoto is far from powerless. Born between two worlds, he carries an enormous reserve of mana and a talent for magic that quickly outstrips almost everyone he meets. In the wasteland he befriends Tomoe, a powerful dragon, and Mio, a fearsome giant spider, who both become his loyal companions. Together they build a new home and a trading company, and Makoto slowly gathers a community of people and creatures who were also pushed to the margins. The series mixes isekai adventure with comedy and world-building, as Makoto turns rejection into a quiet kind of strength and tries to make the world a fairer place on his own terms.
