Overview
Marvel’s Spider-Man (2017) follows Peter Parker, a bright but insecure teenager starting out at Midtown High, whose life changes completely after a radioactive spider bite leaves him with spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter takes up the mantle of Spider-Man, learning to balance school, friendships and the responsibility of protecting New York City.
The series gives the classic origin a fresh twist by sending Peter to the science-focused Horizon High, where his classmates include other young heroes and his mentors hide secrets of their own. Across its run, he faces familiar villains, from the Vulture and Doctor Octopus to Venom, while Miles Morales and other young heroes join the fight at his side.
