Overview
Naruto: Shippuden picks up two and a half years after the original series, as Naruto Uzumaki returns to the Hidden Leaf Village after training on the road with Jiraiya. Stronger and more determined than ever, he reunites with Sakura Haruno and Kakashi Hatake, but the village he comes home to faces a grave new threat from the Akatsuki, a shadowy organization hunting the tailed beasts.
Across 500 episodes, Naruto grows from a loud, headstrong teenager into a hero capable of standing against the most dangerous shinobi in the world. As the story builds toward the Fourth Great Ninja War, he must master the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox within him, settle his rivalry with Sasuke Uchiha, and protect the people who believed in him from the very beginning.
