To Be Hero X

Overview

In a world where heroes are made by public trust, To Be Hero X follows a rotating cast of contenders fighting for the title of X, the hero the whole world believes in. Trust is measured, ranked on every hero’s wrist, and lost in an instant, and every two years the top heroes clash in a tournament to settle who stands at the summit.

What makes the series stand out is its rotating spotlight: each arc hands the story to a different hero, from the fallen idol Nice to the street-level fighter Lin Ling, the cheerful Lucky Cyan and the masked E-Soul, so every chapter feels like a new story inside one shared, high-stakes world. This Chinese donghua from bilibili pairs that bold structure with a striking mix of 2D and 3D animation.
