Overview
Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy is a three-chapter animated saga that retells the opening of the Autobot and Decepticon war in a darker, more cinematic style than most Transformers cartoons. Set on a dying Cybertron, it follows Optimus Prime and Megatron as their rivalry pushes their home planet to the edge of ruin and forces both factions to look for a future far beyond it.
The story runs across three six-episode chapters. Siege (2020) covers the final hours of the war on Cybertron and the desperate fight for the Allspark. Earthrise (2020) follows the Autobots aboard the Ark as they search for the missing Allspark in deep space. Kingdom (2021) brings the Maximals and Predacons into the conflict and ties the saga back to the Beast Wars era.
