Trigun Stampede

Overview

Trigun Stampede is a fresh retelling of Yasuhiro Nightow’s classic manga, rebuilt with vivid 3DCG animation by Studio Orange. It follows Vash the Stampede, a legendary gunman with a huge bounty on his head who, despite his fearsome reputation, refuses to take a life. His cheerful, doughnut-loving exterior hides a painful past and a power that entire towns have learned to fear.

The story kicks into gear when rookie reporter Meryl Stryfe and her veteran partner Roberto De Niro arrive to investigate the so-called Humanoid Typhoon, only to find a kind-hearted drifter instead of a monster. As the pair dig deeper, they cross paths with the wandering priest Nicholas D. Wolfwood and uncover the shadow of Vash’s twin brother, Millions Knives, whose plans threaten the desert planet of Noman’s Land itself. The saga continues in the follow-up season, TRIGUN STARGAZE, which picks up the brothers’ conflict years later.
