Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (2023) takes one of the strangest isekai premises imaginable and plays it completely straight. After a vending-machine-obsessed man dies in a traffic accident, he wakes up in a fantasy world reborn as a vending machine — able to see and hear, but unable to move on his own or speak anything beyond his programmed phrases.
His luck changes when the young hunter Lammis discovers him in a dungeon and carries him along on her adventures. Together with her companions, the machine — known as Boxxo — turns his shelves of drinks, food and tools into a lifeline for a party exploring dangerous labyrinths. The result is a warm, funny fantasy about usefulness, friendship and finding a purpose in the most unlikely new body.
